If you need incentive to dust off your pushbike, there's nothing like a Paris view!
Today's illustration sees our intrepid travellers Maggie and Marcel on a flower-laden quest for baguettes, framed by the gorgeous Pont Alexandre III.
Named after Tsar Alexandre III, this beautifully ornate deck arch bridge is both an artistic and engineering masterpiece, with a single span steel arch measuring six metres high. Its design had to ensure neither the Invalides nor Champs-Élysées was obscured. Featured in many movies (who wouldn't want an excuse to film there?!) this beauty is a 'must-see', connecting the neighbourhoods of les Invalides and the Eiffel Tower with the Champs-Élysées. Best enjoyed with a furry friend or two! And on that note ...
