Winnie and her mum are dedicated to brightening lives in hospitals and as if that's not enough love and caring, they are giving these rescued kittens a safe haven until they grow a little more and can find new furever homes. They are delightful and inspiring souls.  Please go say Hi !

Time for a glam weekend ... we've a plethora of paper parasols for your potion of preference ~ and you can leave your shoes at the door.  Barefoot and ballgowned is always welcome Chez Shell. 

Today's fashion and fluffballs blue gown glam illustration includes a dear Klee Kai friend of ours named Leo and a chandelier-filled interior with a garden view.  My signature 'smiling eyes' style doesn't show off the amazing blue windows to Leo's soul .... but you can see them in all their glory when you visit him and his beautiful cohort Lady Como at @ComoAndTheCity.  You'll get lost in them for a while.

So come, let us throw Ol' Blue Eyes onto the start of our playlist and clink glasses in style.  And on that note ...

What is it they say about never working with children and animals ?

Just when you have that perfect shot of Café de Flore lined up, someone wants your undivided attention!  Today's illustration of this iconic spot in Paris ~ one of the oldest coffee houses there, hangout of writers, artists and philosophers back in the day, along with its rival of sorts Les Deux Magots ~ has been photobombed by one of my adorable French bulldog besties on Instagram, @bentley_the_frenchbulldog.  But who could be cross with a cutie pie like this?!  Please go visit this sweetheart and he'll put smiles on your dials.  And on that note ...
