On the outside, however, can I possibly wear an air of nonchalance? Insouciance? Will an off-the-shoulder top signal the sartorial equivalent of an off-the-cuff remark?
When the concert comes, there's a good chance I'll be as cool as a blow-torched cucumber and channelling my Bay City Roller fan days, minus the tartan but still most inelegant. In the meantime, however, let us practise our best Parisian shrug and count the hours. Limitless TimTams and lamingtons will fuel our endeavours, floating by on golden trays powered by energy harnessed from Hugh's dazzling smile. And on that note ...

DeleteIt was steamy and a matinee, so in the end I trotted out my Audrey-esque cream shift dress. Not off the shoulders but it was cool !
Petrea, Alexa, it was one of those magic days ~ dream park, complimentary ticket upgrade just after we sat down and of course ... a couple of hours of Hugh. He's everything I imagined and more. I'm a happy girl. :) Oh, and he did Singin' in the Rain ! Heh!
Magic! He's a wonderful performer, a real pro, gallant, handsome and fun to watch. I'm glad you got to see him.

ReplyDeleteGood question, PA ! My apologies ~ the said Hugh is of the Australian variety, being 'Jackman'. :) It was pretty amazing sitting in the audience having the real deal right there. He is every bit as gorgeous as he seems and then some.
