Childish, yes. Effective? Pretty much so.
Chez Shell, mercury conveniently aligns itself with our wardrobe mood rather than the tedious practicalities of ambient temperature. So we shall opt for something fluffily snug and grand for our stroll in the park, and I will not bust one bead of perspiration at the very thought of it. En garde, Australian summer! Hot toddies are on speed dial, and wait ... is that the sound of chestnuts roasting on an open fire? Lead on, sweet Frenchie! And on that note ...

I like your Frenchie's attitude—and yours! Even here in my hemisphere, where it's meant to be officially winter in a matter of days, we'd have to suffer for fashion to wear this elegant ensemble. Temp here right now is 61°F, (16°C).

In sunny LA it's been more like 10 or 11 degrees! Thank goodness for the Paris talks, I can't take much more of this. Fashion and Fluffballs help a great deal.
ReplyDeleteDear Petrea ~ I wish I'd thought of that. I should have gone to Paris as an official Fashion and Fluffballs representative. To think of the sway I might have held ... perhaps I could have negotiated at least one more degree of reduction!
